I'll spend my life singing along...

I needs to get me a bicycle! I will be able to this now see as today I got 2 jobs. Yes 2. My new Australian life is beginning to take shape! The first is as a publishing assistant at a company that publishes training manuals for engineers. Probably sounds kinda boring but I think it will be a really great job for me. The second is as a front of house assistant at the Sommerville Auditorium over the Perth International Arts Festival. This is an outdoor cinema which screens foreign films throughout the festival, its one of my favourite things in Perth. I have been going to this place every summer for at least 10 years and I am so excited that I get to work there now!

Now that I have the jobs down I think I will be fine. I need to start getting my socialising hat on because I have been LAZY! I went out to dinner with my oldest friend in the whole world and my throat is sore from talking too much. But apart from a few events, I haven't really been out that much and its getting kinda lame... Especially going from doing something every night of the week in Canada to doing pretty much nothing and watching television in my room all night here, its not a good contrast. I got quite drunk on Saturday night and went to see Gaslamp Killer who is a DJ from LA. It was good, not fantastic though. I saw my old crush again and right now I am hating myself for falling into bad habits. I hate being a stupid girl who falls for stupid boys who sleep with half of Perth and not me...

Ok we're not going into that. This was meant to be a story about me getting jobs and feeling great about myself. Which I do! I feel fantastic about the potential places my life will take me in the near future. In the immediate future, my life is taking me to bed so I can get a good night sleep and make the most out of what tomorrow will bring.

PS. I have been looking at alot of Ryan McGinley's photography, I really enjoy the pictures but I feel a little like I'm looking at porn... I wonder who decides where the line between porn and art lies.
